Sri Lankan fast bowler Dushmantha Chameera has withdrawn his name from the Sri Lanka squad set to take on Bangladesh in a 2-Test series due to personal reasons.
A reliable source told ThePapare.com that Chameera has requested for paternity leave with his wife due to deliver the couple’s 1st child sometime next week.

Chameera who played the recently concluded Test series against West Indies, had a reasonable outing in the Caribbean, picking up 7 wickets in 2 Test matches.

20-year-old Dilshan Madushanka is likely to take the place of Chameera in the squad.
The Sri Lanka Test squad will commence their training today (16th April) for the upcoming Bangladesh Test series.
