M.H Chalitha Pushpika emerged victorious in the Sri Lanka Golf Ranking tournament which was held at the Royal Colombo Golf Club from 26th April to 29th April 2022.

A keen set of golfers battled against each other to earn their spot on the top performing golfers list in Sri Lanka. The event was organized as a four-day tournament with 31 golfers teeing off.
Chalitha Pushpika stamped his supremacy with a gross score of 284 points while Vinoth Kumar clinched second runner up in the tournament with 288 points.

Sri Lanka Golf has taken the first step towards preparing for the Asian Games in China, which is scheduled to take place in the month of September later this year.

Accordingly, a selected number of golfers at the top of the national standings will undergo a challenging program which consists of training and mental strengthening sessions in order to reach their peak form for the Asian Games.
