Priyadarshana has been a prominent figure at the Havelock Sports Club ever since he took up the sport in 2009 and has evolved to be the country’s first choice in the front row.

Known as ‘Bodhi’ amongst the rugby fraternity, the 32-year-old has been a revelation throughout the years and was pivotal in Havelock’s success last season.

From a team that was given no chance at making the top 3, the Havelock Sports Club side came out strong, giving stiff opposition to every club in the league and finally ended as runners-up of the league.

An x-factor player, ‘Bodhi is known to be one of the best workhorses and is a player with a never give up attitude who gives his 100% on the field. A team player, he was behind the success of the forwards of Havelock’s.

Injury kept Dushmantha out of the last few matches of the Dialog Rugby League and the Dialog Clifford Cup

An injury in the game against CH & FC in the super round kept him out of the final few weeks of the league and then the Dialog Clifford Cup, which the Havies won defeating Air Force.

The injury also kept him from national selection but the stalwart is confident that he can make an impact in his new club at Maitland Place.

Dushmantha’s addition comes at a good time as the club looks to rebuild in a bid to lift the silverware, after finishing third in the table last time.

The Dialog Rugby League season for 2019/20 will kick off in November.
