Bangladesh ‘A’ knocked off a massive win over Sri Lanka ‘A’ in the 2nd Women’s T20 of the five-match series played today (13th September) at P. Sara Oval Cricket Stadium in Colombo. With this win, the visitors lead the series, 2-0.
Having won the toss, Sri Lanka invited the visitors to take first lease of the wicket, but the decision didn’t turn out to be fruitful as Bangladesh posted a commanding total – 164/6 on the board in the allotted 20 overs.
Bangladesh top order clicked with the bat as Shathi Rani, Sobhana Mostary and Nigar Sultana top scored with scores of 50, 39 and 34*.

Malki Madara picked up 2 wickets for 25 runs in her 3-over spell for Sri Lanka.
In their turn with the bat, the hosts displayed a poor effort as they were bundled out for just 60 runs, handing a 104-run win for Bangladesh.
Rabeya Khan was brilliant with the ball for the visitors as she scalped 4 wickets for 4 runs in 2.4 overs. Fahima Khatun and Sultana Khatun also starred with the ball picking up 2 wickets each.
