Bandula Dissanayake, who is an executive committee member of Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC), has been elected as the new president of Colombo District Cricket Association.
Dissanayake unanimously elected to the position at a virtual Annual General Meeting held on Sunday (29th August).
Dissanayake has been a member in the Executive Committee of the Colombo District Association since 1994 where he has held several high-profile positions like General Secretary and Vice President in the past.

The other members elected to the Executive Committee of Colombo District Association for 2021-23 are as follows;
- Vice Presidents: Mohan de Silva, Aruna de Silva, Samantha Dodanwela, Nalin Aponso
- Secretary: Ashan Welagedara
- Treasurer: Kuzeema Mansoor
- Asst. Secretary: Upali Manukularatne
- Asst. Treasurer: Udaya Imalsha
- Chairman Tournaments: Shammi Gunasekara
- Chairman Selections: Marlon Ranasinghe
- Committee Members: Lucien Merrinage, Dulantha Sumathipala
