Interestingly, Avishka Tharindu wasn’t included in the Sri Lanka U19 squad which toured South Africa in January this year. He was a consistent performer in the national U19 set up and unfortunately missed out on the World Cup squad due to his lean performance in the Asia Cup 2019.
