Avishka and Praveen through to Finals Asian Youth Championships

Avishka Theminda and Praveen Jayathilake qualified for the final round of the Boys’ 400m at the Asian Youth Athletics Championships.

The 4^th Asian Youth Athletics Championship kicked off yesterday [13^th October] in Kuwait, and two Lankan lads took part in their first event yesterday. Both Theminda and Jayathilake recorded wins in their respective heats.

Praveen Jayathilake took the 1^st heat with a time of 48.84 secs whilst Avishka Theminda finished with a timing of 49.58 secs.
