The 6ft 8in Arnold will become the tallest man to play for the Wallabies

Australia coach Michael Cheika has named three debutants in his team to face England in the opening Test in Brisbane on Saturday.

Centre Samu Kerevi, lock Rory Arnold and winger Dane Haylett-Petty are set to start as the Aussies opt for bulk.

Scrum-half Nick Frisby could also make his debut from the replacements’ bench.

England, who name their team at 10:10 BST, are expected to start Owen Farrell at 10, Maro Itoje on the blind-side and Marland Yarde on the wing.

Christian Lealiifano, absent from Australia’s training camp to be with his wife for the birth of their first child, is a replacement.

Cheika’s starting line-up is a powerful one with centres Kerevi and Tevita Kuridrani weighing a combined 33 stone, while the 6ft 8in (2.08m) Arnold will become the tallest man to play for the Wallabies.
