Sri Lankan seamer Asitha Fernando has been signed by Nottinghamshire County Cricket Club for the ongoing County Championship 2023.
Fernando is most likely to play for the Outlaws in three games against Kent, Lancashire, and Middlesex during the month of September.
Hasaranga ruled out of Asia Cup
The right-arm quick has been a regular feature in the Sri Lanka Test lineup in the recent past but has not been picked for the upcoming Asia Cup 2023.
The 26-year-old has picked up 35 Test wickets in 12 games. He has also played 63 first-class games and has taken 193 scalps.
