The Asian Schools’ Sports Federation has invited Sri Lanka to participate in the 2nd Asian Schools’ Boys’ Under 18 Rugby Seven’s Championship 2016 which will be held in Hong Kong from 22nd to 26th July, 2016.
The SLRFU, in a bid to perform a transparent and fair selection process has requested all rugby playing schools to submit a list of names of those who they think could qualify to play the above tournament.
Eligibility: boys born between 1st January 1998 and 31st December 2000.
The name list could be sent either in writing or via e-mail

The SLRFU requests that all correspondences indicate the subject as “Name List for the Selection Boys Under 18 Rugby Seven’s Team”
This could prove to be a valuable opportunity for the youngsters involved as 7s rugby continues to grow around the world upon the sports’ introduction to the Olympic Games this year.
