Raveen Alexander and Kelum Sandaruwan are set to officiate the at the Cobra Ten’s which are set to take place in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia on the 2nd and 3rd of November.
The Rugby Tens tournament is set to take place for the 51st time at Padang Astaka in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia.
Raveen Alexander is receiving well-deserved recognition as the best referee on the Sri Lankan circuit. He had the honour of officiating the CR & FC vs. Kandy League decider, along with 12 other schools’ rugby matches this season.
Raveen also officiated at the Borneo 7s in Malaysia this March, as well as the Asia Rugby 7s in Nepal this October.
Kelum Sandaruwan has excelled this season in the schools’ rugby arena, earning him a place to travel to the Tens tournament in Malaysia. The last time Kelum officiated in Malaysia was in 2019, and this will be a great opportunity for him to gain further international experience. He officiated seven school games this season and is undoubtedly eager to officiate abroad once again.
Both Raveen and Kelum are promising referees, and this opportunity will allow them to enhance their knowledge both theoretically and practically.
