The national selectors have picked a squad of 39 players for the U20 Junior Rugby ASIAD to be held in Malaysia from the 11th to 17th December
Players have been picked after assessing their performance during the Kandy Vs Colombo combined schools selection trial held at Havelock park yesterday (08th November) and also taking into consideration their form in the 2015/16 school season. Colombo dominates the squad and has 27 players while 12 Kandy players have made it to the squad.
The announced squad will start training tomorrow in Colombo under the guidance of Nilfer Ibrahim who coached Isipathana to A division league title last season.
