St. Anthony’s vs Trinity
The Trinity Lions were moments away from being tamed, however, their hunger to remain unbeaten at the end of Week two came to the fore as they defeated the Antonians thanks to a late try from Anuhas Kodithuwakku.
St. Anthony’s lead by a solitary point at lemons, however, inexperience, ill-discipline and a moment of brilliance by Kodithuwakku meant the visitors bagged the points.

Both teams continued from where they left off with Pathana attacking hammer and tongs and Wesley holding on for dear life.
The change in tactics by the visitors saw them take a different approach as they opted for points instead of trying to muscle their way through Wesley, and it worked, well at-least with the first points of the game.
Wesley College had the perfect opportunity to secure the game, however, a dysfunctional lineout meant the Green-machine held on and scored a try of their own to win!

Vidyartha vs St. Peter’s

Unforced errors were the theme of the day on a soggy evening at Nittawela. Neither team could maximized their chances as again, the wet ball didn’t help their cause.
The visitors looked half baked, not a thing one would usually call a team coached by Sanath Martis, but they failed to adapt to the conditions and paid the price.
