Mohamed Shabeer of S.Peter’s College will captain the Sri Lanka U14 team at the AFC U14 South and Central region football festival.
The regional football festival will be held in Tajikistan from the 21st to the 27th of May.
This incidentally is the first time a Peterite has captained a Sri Lanka Junior National side. The squad comprises of future talents from all over the country including Hatton,Anuradhapura and Jaffna.
C.A. Jenushan and G. Kajanan represent the side from St.John’s Jaffna and Jaffna Mahajana College respectively while four were selected from De Mazenod College Kandana.
