The Sri Lankan Table Tennis Team will leave to China on Thursday to participate in the World Table Tennis Championships which starts on Sunday 26 April.
The team comprises of three males and three females. The men’s team will be represented by Nirmala Jayasinghe, who leads the team, Rohan Sirisena and Prasad Silva, while the women’s team will comprise Erandi Warusavithana, Ishara Madurangi and Tharunya Shachini.
107 countries will take part at this championship. China won the championship last year which was held in Tokyo Japan.
