The International Institute of Health Sciences has organized an International Health Conference on “Prevention of sports injuries”.
The prime objective of the conference is to improve the basic knowledge of sports injuries and effective prevention in sports injuries in Sri Lanka.
The key note speaker is Dr. David Young, the famous Orthopaedic Surgeon and Honorary Surgeon for Sri Lanka’s Cricket Team and along with the distinguished panel of Prof. Arjuna P. De Silva, Dr. Nihal De Silva, Dr. K.U.R.A. Banagala, Dr. Aranjana L. Karunanayake, Dr. Janaki Gooneratne, Dr. Ashan Abeyewardena, Dr. Kithsiri Edirisinghe and Mr. Thayumanvan will be addressing the conference .
This conference will be held on the 8th & 9th of April 2015 at the Main Auditorium of Sri Lanka Foundation Institute, Colombo 07, from 8.30am to 5pm.
