ICC Chairman N. Srinivasan was booed at the MCG yesterday during the awards presentation after the finals of the World Cup between Australia and New Zealand.
Presenter Mark Nicolas introduced the members of the podium ahead of the presentation ceremony and as Srinivasan’s name was mentioned, the crowd went berserk booing him. The game was witnessed by more than 93,000 fans.
Srinivasan, the former President of the Board of Control for Cricket in India, has come under heavy flack for his role of the Big Three’s takeover of control of the ICC.
