Underdogs in week one, CCC, Badureliya CC and Saracens SC came back strongly during day one of second week’s proceedings of the SLC Premier League Tournament 2014/15.
CCC vs Chilaw Marians
Fast-bowler Arosha Janoda’s five-wicket haul restricted Chilaw Marians to only 71 at Maitland Crescent. CCC in their reply was 171 for 8.

Milinda Siriwardene’s brilliant all-round performances of an unbeaten ton and a three-wicket haul gave Badureliya SC an edge over Bloomfield at Colombo 7.

All-rounder Umesh Karunarathne slammed a terrific ton and came back to scalp four wickets to put Saracens SC in the driving seat against SSC at Katunayake.

Colts made a bold reply of 94 for 3 after bowling out Tamil Union for only 207 at Colts grounds.
