Trinity led by Raveen Sayer created history at Darley Road when they beat St. Joseph’s by five wickets to end a five-decade old victory drought in the century old traditional Under-19 cricket fixture between the two schools on Saturday.
The traditional fixture between these two schools is now 104 editions old. While Joes lead the victory tally with 36 wins, what Trinity achieved on Saturday was their 14th victory. They last won in 1964. The Joes last won in 2010.
