Sri Lanka to tour Bangladesh for friendlies

Sri Lanka national football team will be leaving to Bangladesh to play two friendly internationals on the 24th and 27th of October.

The National Football team which is preparing for the SAFF Championship early 2015 has recalled former captain Thilina Suranda Bandara to this young squad to add experience. The Solid SC center back will undoubtedly bring a wealth of international experience and exposure which the squad lacks. 

The first friendly will be played on the 24th at Jessore Stadium and the second on the 27th October at Rajshahi Stadium in Bangladesh. The Sri Lanka National Football squad is undergoing training under Head Coach, Mr. Nickola Kavazovic from Serbia at Beddagana Football Training Complex and this will be the International friendly after the successful tour of Seychelles Island in August.

The squad had their final preparation when they played a friendly match against Dialog Champions League table leaders Navy SC which ended in a 2 all draw. Coach Kavazovic was satisfied saying that there were a lot of good things and some problems to solve before leaving to Bangladesh.
