The Executive Committee of Sri Lanka Cricket appointed an 8 member committee to evaluate and short list the applicants and to nominate the appropriate candidate for the vacant positions.
The committee comprises of Mr. Asanga Seneviratne, Mohan De Silva, Nishantha Ranatunga, Hirantha Perera, Nuski Mohamed, Sanath Jayasuriya, Jayananda Warnaweera, Shammi Silva, Dushan Soyza, Ranjit Fernando, and Head of Coaching Jerome Jayaratne.
SLC has received 17 applications for the post of National Coach – 01 local and 16 foreign, 17 applications for the post of Fielding Coach – 2 local and 15 foreign and 15 applications for the post of National Trainer – 02 local and 13 foreign.
