Addressing the complaint lodged by Army Sports Club against referee Dinka Peries who officiated the Upcountry Lions v Army SC match a disciplinary committee of the Sri Lanka Rugby Football Union (SLRFU) decided to clear the referee from any punishment.
The disciplinary committee which met on the 6th of February 2014 inquired to the allegations and the conclusion was that there was no credible evidence to substantiate that there was a lapse on the part of the referee with the issues raised by the complainants (Army SC).
It was further clarified that no further reviews on the decisions of the referee had to be taken especially regarding the issue related to a yellow card.
