Thurstan College managed to put on an excellent batting display against Mahinda College on Day 1 of the final of Under 19 Division 1 Tier B Two Day Cricket Tournament commenced today (27th February) at Sooriyawewa International Cricket Stadium.
Having been asked to bat first, Thurstan College posted 274 runs for 5 wickets courtesy of half-centuries made by Tanuja Rajapakse (76) and Vihas Thewmika (70*).

Vimath Dinsara’s brilliant century helped Royal College take upper hand against Wesley College in their traditional encounter commenced today at Royal College Grounds, Colombo.

The middle order batter Dinsara scored 122 runs off 175 balls with 14 fours and a six while the skipper Ramiru Perera contributed with 99 runs.
The traditional encounter between Dharmaraja College and Dharmasoka College also commenced today at Dharmaraja College Grounds, Kandy.
Batting first, the hosts posted 238 runs for 8 wickets with Kashyapa Dissanayaka (78) and Pulindu Perera (57) contributing with half-centuries.
