Sri Lanka national selectors have announced ODI and T20I squads for the upcoming white-ball series against New Zealand.
The 27-year old southpaw Charith Asalanka will lead both ODI and T20I squads as usual. Sri Lanka have named the same squad that featured against West Indies in the recently concluded T20I series, for the New Zealand T20Is as well.
For the ODIs, dashing left-hander Kusal Janith Perera has been recalled after 12 months. The rest of the squad for the ODI series fills out as expected with all the players featured in their last assignment against West Indies, have retained their places.
The two-match T20I series will be played on the 9th and 10th November at Dambulla International Cricket Stadium.
It will be followed by the three-match ODI series which will be held on the 13th, 17th and 19th November. Dambulla International Cricket Stadium will host the first ODI while the remaining two ODIs will be hosted by Pallekele International Cricket Stadium.
