Sri Lanka ‘A’ registered a comfortable win over Hong Kong in their second game of ACC Men’s T20 Emerging Teams Asia Cup 2024 played today (20th October) at Al Amerat Cricket Grounds in Oman.
After been put into bat first, Sri Lanka ‘A’ posted a good total – 178/5 on the board courtesy of an excellent knock by the opening batter Yashodha Lanka who made 56 runs off 44 balls with 3 fours and 2 sixes.

Hong Kong managed to post only 136 runs for 7 wickets in reply, handing 42-run win for Sri Lanka ‘A’.
The seamers Nipun Ransika (3/17) and Eshan Malinga (2/20) stood out with the ball for Sri Lanka, sharing 5 wickets between them.

Sri Lanka ‘A’ will meet Bangladesh ‘A’ in their next game on the 22nd October at the same venue.
