Ace Capital Cricket Club emerged champions of the SLC Major Clubs U23 Tournament 2024 as they claimed first innings points against Moors Sports Club in the final ended a draw today (5th October) at Colts Cricket Grounds, Colombo.
Ace Capital Cricket Club resumed their first innings on Day 2 at 110/5 and managed to add another 207 runs for the remaining 5 wickets.

The No. 9 batter Sasanka Nirmal struck a match-defining century to turn the game in favor of Ace Capital Cricket Club. Nirmal hit unbeaten 106 runs off 167 balls with 9 fours and 2 sixes.
Danal Hemananda batting at No. 10, also played a crucial knock worth 70 runs helping Ace Capital Cricket Club take first innings advantage. The duo added vital 166-run stand for the 9th wicket.
