Lewis hit 119 runs off 75 balls with 17 fours and 2 sixes at a strike rate of 158.66. Shashini Gimhani and Achini Kulasuriya picked up a wicket each for Sri Lanka.

Sri Lanka lost the opening batter Vishmi Gunaratne early in the run-chase, but the in-form batter Harshitha Samarawickrama repeated her first T20I heroics once again with a brilliant knock – 65 off 44 balls.

Samarawickrama got good support from Sri Lanka’s No. 4 batter Kavisha Dilhari with the duo adding 72 runs off 49 balls for the third wicket.

After the dismissal of Samarawickrama, Sri Lanka lost their way despite Dilhari’s fighting effort at the end. Dilhari struck a six in the final over to reach her fifty but with 8 needed off 2, failed to get clean connection as Ireland managed to level the series.
