National Cricket Selection Committee has selected a 16-member Sri Lanka squad for the upcoming three-match ODI series against India.
The 27-yeard old southpaw Charith Asalanka who was given the Sri Lanka T20I captaincy last week, has been handed the ODI captaincy as well.

Most of the players who featured in Sri Lanka’s last ODI assignment against Bangladesh have retained their places in the squad.
Meanwhile, the wicket-keeper batter Nishan Madushka has also earned a place in the squad.

The three-match ODI series will be played on the 2nd, 4th and 7th August 2024 at the R. Premadasa International Cricket Stadium in Colombo.
