Padel, a sport that uniquely combines elements of tennis and squash, is played in an enclosed court slightly smaller than a tennis court. It is known for being highly social and easy to learn, making it accessible and enjoyable for players of all ages and skill levels. The sport’s rapid global growth can be attributed to its engaging nature and the sense of community it fosters among players. Padel House, with its state-of-the-art facilities, is at the forefront of this movement in Sri Lanka, promoting the sport and nurturing a new generation of padel enthusiasts.

From 19th to 21st July 2024, Padel House became the epicenter of padel excitement as it hosted a three-day tournament at its Havelock courts. The event drew padel lovers from all walks of life, creating a vibrant and competitive atmosphere. With over 50 teams participating, the tournament featured four categories: Men’s Double, Women’s Double, Mixed Double and Pro Category. This diverse range of categories ensured that players of varying skills and experiences could compete and showcase their talents. The tournament not only aimed to enhance players’ skills but also to promote fellowship and camaraderie among the participants.

The success of this groundbreaking event was amplified by the generous support of our sponsors — Taru Villas, D.A.E, Joseph Fraser Ninewells, Hotreve Management and W15 Collection. Their contributions were invaluable, providing attractive prizes for the winners, including hotel stays, health and wellness packages and adventure experiences. Padel House extends its heartfelt thanks to the sponsors for their unwavering support and commitment to promoting padel in Sri Lanka.
