Sri Lankan sprinter Aruna Darshana has qualified for the upcoming Paris Olympics 2024.
Darshana will represent Sri Lanka in the Men’s 400m event. Darshana will be the sixth Sri Lankan athlete to secure a spot to compete in the Paris Olympics 2024.

The 25-year-old athlete from Sinhapura, Trincomalee and the South Asian Games Gold Medalist has been performing exceptionally well in the Men’s 400m event in recent times.

The Asian Games medalist Tharushi Karunarathna (Women’s 800m), Dilhani Lekamge (Women’s Javelin Throw), Viren Nettasinghe (Badminton), Kyle Abeysinghe (Swimming – Men’s 100m Freestyle) and Ganga Seneviratne (Swimming – Women’s 100m Backstroke) are the other five Sri Lankan Athletes qualified for the prestigious games.
