Nondescripts Cricket Club emerged champions of SLC Major Clubs T20 Tournament 2024 as they registered a convincing win over Bloomfield Cricket & Athletic Club in the final worked off today (28th June) at P. Sara Oval Grounds, Colombo.
After being put into bat first, Bloomfield C & AC were bowled out for just 54 runs as Lasith Embuldeniya (3/5), Matheesha Pathirana (2/9), and Chamika Karunaratne (2/21) produced impressive spells with the ball for NCC.
NCC cruised to the target quite convincingly, crossing the line in the 6th over with 8 wickets in hand. Opening batter Pathum Nissanka top-scored for NCC with a quick-fire 18 runs off 10 balls, including 3 fours and a six.
