SLC Team Green registered a comfortable win over SLC Team Yellow in the third match of the SLC T20 World Cup Preparation Tournament, played today (6th May) at R. Premadasa International Cricket Stadium.
Opting to bat first, SLC Team Green posted a mammoth total on the board thanks to two blistering knocks from Bhanuka Rajapaksa and Janith Liyanage.

Rajapaksa stroked 88 runs off 36 balls with 13 fours and 4 sixes at a strike rate of 244.44, while Liyanage hit 70 runs off 35 balls with 5 fours and 4 sixes at a strike rate of 200.
No. 6 batter Ramesh Mendis provided the finishing touches with a quick-fire knock – 35 runs off 15 balls with a four and 4 sixes at a strike rate of 233.33.

In reply, SLC Team Yellow were knocked over for 153 runs as the ambidextrous spinner Tharindu Rathnayake ripped through their batting lineup, scalping 4 wickets for 25 runs.
