Team Colombo emerged champions of the Women’s National Super League T20 Tournament 2024 as they defeated Team Dambulla in the Final which was worked off today (20th February) at Colts Grounds, Colombo.
Colombo Skipper Hasini Perera put the opposition into bat after winning the toss and the decision paid off as they managed to restrict Dambulla for just 82 runs.

Sachini Nisansala, Vidushika Perera and Tharushi Thathsarani impressed with the ball, snaring 2 wickets each for Colombo.

It was a walk-in-the-park victory for Colombo as they cruised to the target with ease, losing only 1 wicket. The wicket-keeper batter Prasadani Weerakkodi was the chief architect of Colombo’s run-chase as she made 39 runs off 47 balls with 3 fours.
