Royal College Skipper Nithesh Jayasinghe won the toss and opted to bat first at MCA Grounds, Colombo. They posted 113 runs in 49.1 overs with Aadam Rahimdeen and Ranuda Ranasinghe chipping in with useful 20s with the bat.

In reply, D. S. Senanayake College managed to post 95 runs for 9 wickets before bad light stopped the play. Since the game did not produce a result at the end, the officials declared both teams as Joint Champions.
