The eighth edition of the Lawyers Cricket World Cup is set to kick off tomorrow (29th December) in Sri Lanka.

Two teams from Sri Lanka, India, Pakistan, and Bangladesh, a team from England and a combined Commonwealth team comprising players from Australia, New Zealand and other commonwealth countries will participate in the competition.

Matches will be played as 35-over games, and eight Grounds – SSC, NCC, MCA, Air Force Katunayake, Thurstan, FTZ Katunayake, LRDC Nawala, Artillery Panagoda will host the event from 29th December to 6th January.
It’s the second time that Sri Lanka will host the Lawyers World Cup, as they hosted the 6th edition of the tournament in 2017.
