Sri Lankan leg-spinning all-rounder Seekkuge Prasanna has decided to retire immediately from International Cricket.

Prasanna made his international debut in ODIs at the age of 26 in August 2011 and followed it with Tests and T20Is in September 2011 and 2013.

In a career that spanned over 12 years, Prasanna has played 1 Test, 40 ODIs and 20 T20Is for Sri Lanka. He has amassed 640 runs with the bat while picking up 42 wickets in international cricket.

Prasanna will continue to play domestic cricket in Sri Lanka while participating in various franchise leagues around the globe. He is set to participate in the upcoming second edition of Legends League Cricket representing Gujarat Giants.
