Sri Lanka Cricket has announced 15-member Men’s and Women’s Squads for the upcoming Asian Games.
The Men’s squad is the equivalent of a Sri Lanka ‘A’ side, which will be captained by Sahan Arachchige, while Chamari Athapaththu will captain the Women’s side.
The games are set to begin in Hangzou on the 23rd of September with the Cricket competition to commence on the 27th. Sri Lanka, alongside India, Pakistan and Bangladesh, have received direct qualification to the quarterfinals in both the Men’s and Women’s categories.
