The Under 19 Division 1 Inter-Schools Limited Overs Cricket Tournament, organized by the Sri Lanka Schools Cricket Association, is all set to commence on the 25th of August. The 38 teams of Division 1 are separated into 2 Tiers, namely Tier ‘A’ and Tier ‘B’.
The 20 teams in Division 1 Tier A are divided into 2 groups of 10 teams each, and one team will face all the other 9 teams in the group in the round robin stage. 18 teams are set to compete in Division 1 Tier B, who are also divided into 2 groups of 9 teams each.
After the round robin games are completed, the top 4 teams from the 2 groups will qualify for the Quarter Final stage, followed by the Semi Finals and the Finals.

Maris Stella College and St. Servatius’ College have been promoted to the Division 1 Tier A segment from being in the Tier B segment last year, while Holy Cross College and St. Sebastian’s College, Katuneriya have been promoted to the Division 1 Tier B segment from being in the Division 2 Tier A segment from last year.
