St. Peter’s College Colombo, held a felicitation ceremony in Colombo for its Rugby sponsors ahead of the Dialog Schools Rugby League 2023 which is set to commence next month.
The platinum sponsor for Peterite Rugby this season will be Nabco, which is the fastest growing and most dominant retail solutions provider in Hertfordshire, UK.
The Peterite Rugby will be further boosted by TDM International, an international freight forwarding company which has come forward as the principal sponsor for the 2023 rugby season. Kotmale signed up as the gold sponsor whilst AJM and Hemas Hospitals are the silver sponsors.
St. Peter’s College Rector Rev. Fr Rohitha Rodrigo, St. Peter’s College Prefect of Games Rev. Fr Milan Bernard and St. Peter’s College Rugby Foundation headed by Mangala Dharmapriya led the proceedings to felicitate all the sponsors involved with Peterite Rugby this season.

St. Peter’s College this season has been a force to reckon in the Sevens segments winning the CR&FC Centenary Rugby Sevens – Schools competition. They also became the runner-up in the Under 19 Schools Elite Rugby Sevens.
St. Peter’s College 1st XV rugby team, coached by Sanath Martis will compete in the Division 1 – Group 2 alongside Royal College, Trinity College, Vidyartha College, Science College, Zahira College and Dharmaraja College. The Peterites will commence their 15-a-side tournament at home against Royal College on the 17th of June.
