The Netball Federation of Sri Lanka (NFSL) has further reduced the Sri Lanka Netball pool to 16 players, who are in preparation for the Netball World Cup 2023.
The Netball World Cup will be held from 28th July to 6th August in Cape Town, South Africa. The squad will continue training under Head Coach Thilaka Jinadasa, and will select the final 12-player squad for the World Cup in May.
Players to miss out from being in the 20-player squad are Hansima Dissanayake, Parami Kodithuwakku, Dulanjali Suraweera and Ishani Madushika.

The pool was selected by the Selection Committee headed by former Sri Lanka Captain Damayanthi Jayathilake, Thisangani Kodituwakku and Chamika Jayasekara.
