In a bid to elevate the National Netball team to the next level after being crowned the Queens of Asian Netball, Sri Lanka’s premier connectivity provider, Dialog Axiata PLC, continuing its promise to support national sports has come forth to power the Senior National Championship for the fourth consecutive time.
The Senior National tourney will be worked-off from the 11th to 12th of February 2023 at the Torrington Ground, Colombo, while the semi-final and the grand finale will be played at the Sugathadasa Indoor Stadium, Colombo on the 13th of February 2023 and will consist of 35 plus teams who will compete for the crown.

The Senior National Netball Championship acts as the premier talent identification tourney by the Netball Federation of Sri Lanka to expand the national pool with new talent especially as the National Netball Team will be preparing for the 2023 World Cup which will be played from the 28th of July to the 6th of August in Cape Town, South Africa.
As the principal sponsor, Dialog Axiata PLC has planned to LIVE stream the Semi-finals and the Final via ThePapare.com, Dialog ViU mobile app and will also be shown LIVE on Dialog TV Channel 140 from 1.00pm Onwards.

In the last National Netball Championship tourney, HNB Netball Team representing Mercantile Netball Association walked away with the Cup after defeating Airforce Team 49-47 in the final.
