Gateway College will want to continue their dominance against S. Thomas’ College when they meet for the 4th time for the Neville De Alwis – Ralph Alles Challenge Trophy at the Racecourse Stadium on the 30th of January.
Apart from the U14, U16, Old Boys and U20 matches between S.Thomas’ and Gateway, a friendly Girls U20 game between Gateway College and Colombo International School will also take place.
Gateway College won the last three encounters (5-1, 1-0 & 2-1) under the guidance of head coach James Heath. Thomians will be captained by Mahith Perera, a former Sri Lanka U16 cap while Gateway will be captained by former Sri Lanka U20 member Samunu Kaggodaarachchi.

Gateway is coming off a good string of performances, especially in ThePapare Football Championship 2022, where they made it into the quarter-finals. Mr. Eranjith Ranasinghe will be the Chief Guest for the encounter.
