On the 9th day of the Commonwealth Games 2022, Diver Dulanjan Fernando competed in his last event, Men’s 3m springboard, finishing in 15th place overall with a score of 217.95 points.
His highest point-earning dive was 405C Inward 2 ½ Somersaults Tuck. Though Fernando managed to qualify for the finals in his 1st event on day 01, he missed out on the finals in the 3m springboard event today.
Fernando was the final appearance of Sri Lanka Aquatics in Birmingham 2022.

A new national record, 2 new personal best times, a reserve spot in the final and a new seasonal best time were established from Swimming by Akalanka Peiris and Ganga Senevirathne, and Diver Dulanjan Fernando was a finalist in Men’s 1m Springboard.
