The President of the international aquatic sports governing body, FINA Captain Husain Al Musallam arrived in Sri Lanka today on a two-day courtesy visit at the invitation of the President of the National Olympic Committee Mr Suresh Subramaniam.
The President who took over the office last year will meet with the officials of the Sri Lanka Aquatic Sports Union (SLASU) the national governing body and the Minister of Youth and Sports, whilst also getting an overview of aquatic sports in Sri Lanka.
Captain Husain as he is popularly known in the sporting world is also the Director General of the Olympic Council of Asiaand Secretary General of the Kuwait Olympic Committee
