Two Sri Lankans picked for Pakistan Super League

Sri Lankan all-rounders Seekkuge Prasanna and Thisara Perera have been picked in the replacement draft conducted yesterday to complete the teams at the upcoming Paksitan Super League (PSL). 

The organizers of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) conducted a replacement draft yesterday with the participation of the six franchise teams in order to complete their squads as the 2021 edition of the tournament resumes in June.

The tournament was suspended after only 14 matches following a spate of Covid-19 cases among players and the members of support staff in franchise teams. 

The leg spinning all-rounder Seekuge Prasanna was picked by Lahore Qalanders replacing England all-rounder Joe Denly while seaming all-rounder Thisara Perera was picked by Karachi Kings replacing Afghanistan all-rounder Mohammad Nabi.

The sixth edition of the PSL will resume on June 2nd, with the final scheduled for June 20th.
