Update: Sri Lanka squad for South Africa tour

Sri Lanka Cricket has announced the squad for the upcoming Test series against South Africa and England.

The squad which includes 22 players has been approved by Minister of Youth and Sports Honorable Namal Rajapaksa.

Angelo Mathews who was injured in the semifinal of the LPL 2020, will not take part in the tour of South Africa but has been added in the squad hoping he would be available for the Test series against England which will is scheduled from 4th January 2021.

The squad is set to leave the island on 18th December and will have a 3-day practice match against South African Invitation XI on 20th December. The first Test match of the South Africa tour will be held at Centurion, starting from 26th December.
