Over the last two decades, St. Joseph’s College has produced the most number of national players in the likes of Angelo Mathews, Dimuth Karunaratne, Thisara Perera, Roshen Silva, Sadeera Samarawickrama and Priyamal Perera.
Incidentally, out of those six, four players – Mathews, Karunaratne, Perera, and Silva, represented St. Joseph’s College together, making them one of the best school teams in the country at the time.
