A few Sri Lanka cricketers have joined the #HomeGardenChallenge by planting seeds and plants in their own home gardens to raise awareness on self-sustainability.
With the current global situation due to the COVID-19 pandemic, many people have been denied of essential food items and other goods. #HomeGardenChallenge is a better way to convey the message to the public that people need to look towards a more sustainable and self-sufficient future where they will not be defined by unforeseen circumstances brought about by events such as this pandemic.
Sri Lanka Test and ODI skipper Dimuth Karunaratne, Dinesh Chandimal, Thisara Perera and many more celebrities have joined this challenge so far.
