Another All Black could be destined for Europe, with winger Waisake Naholo linked with a lucrative switch to two separate English clubs.
In a report from Rugbypass.com, Naholo’s signature is being chased by Coventry-based side Wasps – home to the likes of Brad Shields and Lima Sopoaga. However, London Irish are supposed favourites for the winger, the website reports.
With Irish currently top of England’s second division, promotion to the Premiership is guaranteed, with the London side eyeing a marquee signing.
The 27-year old has played in 26 Tests, scoring 16 tries in the process. But he’s found game time for the All Blacks hard to come by this year due to the logjam of options in the outside backs.
Naholo’s current deal with New Zealand Rugby expires at the end of the 2019 season.
