After a tight contest in the 1st round, the Dialog Rugby League for 2018/19 will kick off on the 4th of January 2019 with Havelock Sports Club facing Army SC at home.
The Dialog Rugby League kicked off in November 2018 and was undoubtedly one of the best seasons we have witnessed in the past few years. For sevens weeks, the league has really delivered the excitement, with closely fought encounters.

The reigning champions Kandy Sports Club remained unbeaten at the end of the 1st round but it was not a walk in the park for the Kandy side. Meanwhile, the underdogs Havelock Sports Club, surprised one and all, finishing 2nd at the end of the 1st round after losing only to Kandy SC.

The 2nd round fixtures are formulated based on the standings of the 1st round and will run for seven straight weeks. Havelock Sports Club will start things off when they face Army Sports Club and the league leaders Kandy will face the 8th placed Air Force side.
Interestingly this year, there will be a super round that will be played after the 7 weeks to decide who take the celebrated league title.
The super round will kick off on the 23rd of February and will conclude on 3rd March 2019 with the all-important finals of both Cup and Plate.
